Magnus is responsible for managing the long-term strategy and funding of the Group. He deals with complex client relationships within the business and is a co-founder of 4Syte. Magnus is seasoned in the world of investment banking and financial services, with extensive experience in deal execution and robust structuring having set up funds and tailored financial agreements in his past roles.
Mr. Sinclair is a managing director for AB CarVal, responsible for sourcing and managing asset-based finance investments in Europe. Prior to joining AB CarVal, Mr. Sinclair worked in Credit Suisse’s UK investment banking team. Prior to that, Mr. Sinclair worked as a lawyer at Allen & Overy in London, practicing across its real estate and capital markets teams and also on secondment at The Royal Bank of Scotland supporting their structured derivatives business. Mr. Sinclair completed his M.B.A. with Distinction and a concentration in finance at London Business School and received his L.L.B. from the University of Law, London and his B.A. from the University of Oxford, graduating with first-class honors
Simon is a Managing Director and has over 21 years of experience in alternative investments. Simon is responsible for the management and oversight of investment programs in Europe, the Middle East, and Australia and focuses on portfolio construction and manager selection, providing customized investment recommendations. Simon is an instructor for ILPA’s “Private Credit for the Limited Partner”, a one day, deep-dive seminar offered to ILPA members. Prior to joining Aksia in 2016, Simon spent twelve years at HSBC in several roles across alternative investments research and portfolio management and most recently was Head of Portfolio Management at HSBC Alternative Investments Limited. Simon graduated with first-class honors from the University of Oxford with a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and holds an MSc in Comparative Politics from The London School of Economics. He is a CFA charterholder.
Michael is an investor/structurer with more than 20 years securitisation experience. Most recently he has built out the British Business Bank’s capital relief, private securitisation and speciality finance capabilities. In doing so he has supported close to £5bn lending to the UK’s SMEs using innovative guarantee techniques to both increase lenders’ capacity and/or improve their costs of financing. Prior to this Michael has worked in both the private and public sector at institutions including EIF and S&P working on asset classes ranging from mortgages to the more esoteric and across multiple jurisdictions.
Emma Matebalavu is a Partner and is Global Head of Financial Markets at Clifford Chance. She specialises in all forms of European Real Estate Finance, Private Credit, Asset-Backed Finance, Digital Infrastructure and CMBS. Emma advises on data centre financings, notably she acted for Vantage on the first European data centre ABS which won GlobalCapital European CRE Securitisation Deal of the Year and Overall Securitisation Deal of the Year. Emma has been with the firm for over 25 years and acts for a range of clients, including credit funds, hedge funds, investment banks and insurance companies. Emma featured in The Lawyer Hot 100 List 2020, Financial News 100 Women in Finance 2022 awards, Leading Individual, Property Finance, Legal 500 UK 2024 and Capital Markets: Securitisation, Chambers UK 2024 and Chambers Global 2023. Brian is a Managing Director in CPP Investment’s European Credit team, where he focuses on non-bank financials, CLOs, and SRTs in Europe. He joined CPP Investments as a summer analyst in 2007. Brian holds a DPhil in Financial Economics and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, a BEsc in Mechanical Engineering from Western University and a BA in Business Administration from Ivey Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Darius Noreika is the CEO and Co-Founder of Finbee, a leading lending platform specializing in consumer and business lending in Lithuania and Poland, with an outstanding loan portfolio exceeding €100 million. Tomas Maciulaitis is the CEO of Finbee Verslui, an established business lending platform empowering small and medium-sized enterprises with flexible financing. Operating for over 10 years in Lithuania and Poland, Finbee manages a portfolio exceeding €100 million across SME and consumer markets.
Andy Brewer is a senior director in Fitch Ratings’ European Structured Finance ABS group. He is jointly responsible for leading the Global Consumer ABS rating criteria and Auto Loan Performance Index as well as providing senior support on a number of EMEA consumer based transactions. Prior to his role in ABS, he covered the performance analytics process for all ESF asset classes. Before joining Fitch in 2001, Andy worked for a UK mortgage originator on the issuance of flexible and buy-to-let mortgage-backed transactions.
Ahmad Coucha is the co-founder and CEO of FlapKap, the first and leading Revenue Based & Embedded Financing Platform in the MENA region. Prior to founding FlapKap, Coucha was the co-founder and Chief Strategy & Finance Officer of Kijamii, one of MENA’s largest and most awarded independent advertising agencies. On the academic side, Coucha finished his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering then pursued two masters, one in Business at ie business school in Madrid and a second in Economics & Public Finance at Harvard university in Boston.

Corrado has over 25 years’ experience in investment banking, asset management and insurance. Currently, he is CIO and Chair of the Climate Risk Forum at Foresters Friendly Society. Corrado has a degree in Physics from Turin University and a master’s in finance from London Business School.
Axel Bruzelius is Co-founder and COO at Gilion, an AI-powered funding platform that provides growth capital to companies overlooked by traditional lenders, with zero credit losses across €100M+ deployed. Prior to his role at Gilion, Axel spent nine years at Nordea, one of Northern Europe's largest banks, where he most recently served as Head of Startup & Growth SE (2018-2021). Annabel Downs is an Executive Director in the Asset Finance group within Private Credit of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. She is responsible for leading asset-backed finance transactions across Europe and sits on the board of a number of portfolio companies, focused on purchasing and financing portfolios. Annabel covers a variety of asset classes including consumer, SME, specialty mortgages, fund finance, hard assets and others. Annabel also co-heads the GS Asset & Wealth Management Women’s Network for Europe. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2011. Annabel holds a MSci degree in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London.

Katherine serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Juice, a forward-thinking financial services company dedicated to providing growth capital for digital-first businesses. Killian Walsh is a Managing Director at KBRA Europe Limited (KBRA), based in our Dublin office, where he focuses on European Structured Finance transactions. Killian started his professional career in corporate banking and has been working in the securitisation industry since 2000, firstly as an originator and structurer with ING and more recently as a European analyst at KBRA. He has vast experience working on various transactions spanning multiple asset classes and jurisdictions, both in the commercial and consumer segments. Killian has a deep understanding of various securitisation techniques and regulations and has spoken at various conferences and industry events. Killian holds primary (business and legal studies) and postgraduate (accounting) degrees from University College Dublin.

Jeremiah Wagner, Global Co-Chair of the Structured Finance Practice and Global Co-Chair of the Fund Finance Group, is a partner in the London office of Latham & Watkins.
He has extensive experience across a range of structured finance, securitization (cash flow and synthetic), derivative, and asset-based lending transactions involving a wide array of asset classes, including secured and unsecured consumer loans, corporate loans (including SME and middle-market), residential mortgage loans, commercial mortgage loans, credit card receivables, small and big ticket equipment leases, auto loans and leases, dealer floorplan loans, insurance products, trade receivables, and many different types of inventory.
Jeremiah represents clients (sponsors, originators, issuers, lenders, underwriters, and arrangers) in international capital markets transactions, including securitizations and other asset-backed US-registered public offerings, cross-border offerings, commercial paper programs, and private placements. He has also been involved in a number of tender offers for asset-backed securities in the United States and Europe. He also represents financial institutions and companies in asset-based lending transactions and other similar financings. His experience in this area targets inventory and receivables financing across a number of jurisdictions, including the United States and Europe. Jeremiah also advises clients on a number of regulatory matters affecting the banking and securitizations industries. Tom Cochran is a Partner in the Finance Department of the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Structured Finance Practice. He is also a member of the firm’s Opinions & Confirmations Committee. Tom is an industry leader across asset based finance and securitization. He works for banks, funds and corporate clients across all asset classes, including advising on transactions collateralized by trade receivables, NPLs, residential mortgage loans, unsecured personal loans, auto loans, credit card receivables, FinTech-related financial assets, music rights, infrastructure loans, corporate loans (CLOs and fund finance) and an array of other esoteric asset classes. The transactions have arisen in the context of portfolio acquisitions, bank partnerships, back leverage transactions, corporate restructurings, broader M&A transactions, as well as ongoing treasury management, each of which have demanded bespoke financing solutions. He has advised on the full breadth of securitization structures from public securitizations to private and bespoke financings. Tom has also advised on a number of structured trade and energy related finance transactions, including gas and power financings, commodity receivables securitizations for large energy traders, freight receivables securitizations, inventory and commodity backed structured finance transactions, and structured supply chain finance solutions. Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, he was an executive director at Goldman Sachs supporting its securitization and structured finance businesses.
Rod Lockhart is the Chief Executive Officer of LendInvest Plc, and leads a business at the forefront of disrupting the UK’s property finance market. Since becoming CEO in January 2020, Rod has driven LendInvest’s transformation into an asset-management-focused business, growing Assets Under Management from £1 billion to over £3.2 billion, while Funds Under Management have also increased to £5.13 billion, supporting sustainable investor returns and recurring revenue. Last year LendInvest delivered record lending of more than £1.2bn, bringing the total the business has lent since inception 17-years-ago up to £8bn+.
Rod joined LendInvest in 2015 to lead its Capital Markets and Fund Management division. He was instrumental in launching its retail bond and RMBS programmes and later steered the company through its 2021 IPO on the London Stock Exchange.

Andrew has spent the majority of his executive career in the specialist lending and banking industry, including being the founder and CEO of Masthaven Bank. In addition to his current role of being CEO of Masthaven Finance he is also an investor and portfolio non-executive director of numerous companies predominately in the banking, financial technology, open banking and property sector.
Antonello Aquino is Managing Director, global co-head for Insurance, Funds and Asset Management, and EMEA Private Credit at Moody’s Ratings. He leads Moody’s analytical team responsible for maintaining credit ratings on insurers, funds, and asset managers, as well as private credit entities across EMEA.
Antonello joined Moody’s in 2008 as a Senior Insurance Analyst, covering major European (re)insurers. Prior to Moody’s, he led the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) rating advisory practice at Credit Suisse in Europe. His earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Analyst in Standard & Poor’s insurance sector, and positions within the FIG M&A teams at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) and ABN AMRO.
He holds an MBA from HEC Paris and is an alumnus of London Business School. He graduated cum laude in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Italy. Antonello is fluent in English, Italian, and French.
Claus is Managing Partner and Founder of the fixed income boutique nordIX. In 2021, he launched the European Consumer Credit Fund, investing in fintech-originated consumer loans. Claus spent ten years with the HSBC Group, working in various credit trading and sales roles within the fixed income business. From 2004 to 2007, he served as Head of Global Institutional Sales at HSH Nordbank AG, where he was primarily responsible for the development and marketing of fixed income and alternative investment products. Prior to founding nordIX, Claus was a board member of the private bank Hesse Newman & Co. AG. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Siegen.
Fabian Chrobog
Fabian is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of NorthWall Capital, which he established in 2017. He chairs the firm’s Investment Committee and leads the strategic direction of the firm and its funds.
He has over two decades of investment experience across private credit, special situations, and distressed strategies. Since founding NorthWall, he has overseen its development into a private credit manager with expertise across multiple strategies, including European capital solutions, asset-backed credit, and legal assets. He is closely involved in all aspects of the investment process, from sourcing and structuring to execution and portfolio management. In addition to his investment responsibilities, Fabian supports the leadership of the Asset Management, Infrastructure (Operations, IT, and HR), and Investor Partnerships functions.
Prior to founding NorthWall, Fabian was a Partner, Portfolio Manager, and Investment Committee member at Warwick Capital Partners, a European special situations fund that spun out of Polygon Investment Partners. At Warwick, he focused on private and secondary credit, special situations, private equity, and hard asset investments. He also built and managed a team of junior investment professionals and trading specialists.
Fabian began his investing career at Polygon Investment Partners, managing a multi-asset portfolio spanning loans, bonds, credit derivatives, liquidation claims, and structured opportunities across Europe, the US, and Asia. He previously worked at D.B. Zwirn in London and Frankfurt, investing in private credit and special situations across Europe.
He began his career in investment banking at Bear Stearns in New York and Goldman Sachs in London, advising on M&A transactions in the Telecom, Media & Technology sectors.
Fabian holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University and is a CFA charterholder. He speaks German and English fluently and has a working proficiency in French and Arabic.
Nick Stainthorpe’s practice is at the cutting edge of fintech, specialty finance and private credit. For ten years he has been advising investors, lenders, platforms, tech providers and originators on a host of financial transactions that are driven by new technology. This has included structuring warehouse/ABL facilities, securitisations, forward flow, peer-to-peer platforms, digital supply chain finance programmes and token offerings. He hosts the Specialty Finance Investor Roadshow which is a leading forum for fintech and private credit.

My experience spans most than two decades, working in alternative assets, in various roles, from portfolio management to credit origination and most recently as head of capital for a fintech.
Doug Paterson CFA is a Managing Director and EMEA ABS Sector Lead at S&P Global Ratings.
Since joining S&P Global Ratings in 2012, Doug has worked across a range of structured finance asset classes, including RMBS, Corporate Securitization, Credit Card, Consumer Loans, Auto Loans and Leases and Data Centers.
Doug holds a BSc in Management Sciences and an MSc in Management Science and Operational Research from the University of Warwick and is also a CFA charterholder.
Marta Stojanova is the Managing Director and Head of the EMEA Leveraged Finance and Private Corporate Debt team at S&P Global Ratings, having joined the London office in 2019. She oversees public and private leveraged buyout transactions ratings, including managing relationships with private equity sponsors, distressed exchanges and recovery analysis. In addition, she oversees the EMEA activities assigning private credit ratings and credit estimates, particularly for mid-market CLOs. With 19 years of experience in originating and structuring debt-financed acquisitions, Marta has worked at Citi, Credit Agricole CIB, and ING in leveraged finance and high-yield capital markets.
Additionally, she spent three years at Citi Private Equity, investing over $11 billion in private company equity, mezzanine financing, and fund-of-funds across Europe and North America.
Roxana is an international investor and strategic advisor, with a career encompassing senior roles in banking, commodities, geopolitics and tech across the UK, Europe, and MENA.
Based in London, Roxana is a Chief Strategy Officer of digital real estate lending platform Blend, which is backed by several high-profile family offices and institutional investors.
She is a member of the Advisory Board of Women In Finance and has been recognized as a senior leader in the Innovate Finance Women In FinTech powerlist.
Prior to her current roles, Roxana was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley and Barclays, where she held various senior roles across commodities trading, strategy and research.
Charles is Head of Travers Smith's Specialty Finance team and co-heads the Fund Finance team. He specialises in specialty finance, fund finance, corporate lending, and general banking matters acting for financial institutions, private equity sponsors, investors and borrowers.
Charles represents lenders and borrowers on complex and highly structured transactions, predominantly in the specialty finance, warehouse lending and fund finance spaces. He has a well-established lender practice advising on a number of different financings including in relation to facilities made available to financial institutions, funds and corporate borrowers.
Charles also has particular expertise in specialty finance and forward flow arrangements. He has advised lenders, borrowers, servicers, account banks, originators, purchasers and other parties on transactions across a range of sectors in this space including debt purchase, non-performing loans, mortgage-backed lending, unsecured consumer credit, asset finance, auto loans, debt collection and payment systems.
As an internationally recognised name in the fund finance space, Charles sits on the Fund Finance Association's Content Committee and is a regular speaker and author on the topic. He most recently presented at the Fund Finance Association's Global Market Update. Charles is ranked in the Spotlight Table on Fund Finance by Chambers and Partners UK 2021.
Chris is part of U.S. Bank’s European Global Corporate Trust senior leadership team, based in the London office, where he leads the Structured Finance and CLO Relationship Management group. U.S. Bank provides a full suite of trust, agency, cash management and account bank services across the spectrum of debt capital market and loan market products.
Anthony is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Whitehall Capital, a specialist private lender focused on short-term, property-backed finance. Since its launch in 2017, Whitehall has underwritten more than £500 million of loans across the UK market, building a strong reputation for speed, reliability, and disciplined underwriting. The firm has consistently delivered annualised net returns of over 10% to its investors, achieved with very low volatility and without a single loss in the portfolio, while providing borrowers with bespoke, collateral-secured lending solutions.
With over two decades of experience in banking and financial markets, Anthony began his career in fund management at HSBC in New York and went on to hold senior roles at leading institutions including Credit Suisse. Over the course of his career, he has managed more than $1 billion in assets across global capital markets.
In addition to Whitehall, Anthony is a founding partner of Amram Capital, a London-based wealth and asset management boutique. He also serves as an investor and board member in several financial technology start-ups in the UK, Germany, and Israel. A qualified New York lawyer, he studied at Cass Business School in London and combines legal, financial, and entrepreneurial expertise in building innovative investment platforms.
Ian is the Senior Client Development Officer within Global Capital Markets. He is responsible for the sales strategy, including development, implementation, and execution for a range of structured finance services, including SPV administration, client accounting, trustee, and agency services.
Ian has over 30 years of experience in the banking and corporate trust industry, with extensive experience assisting clients active in the banking, corporate, asset management, fintech, and private equity markets. Ian has strong relationships across the private and public securitisation markets, having supported clients across multiple asset classes, including ABS, MBS, CLO, and Trade Receivables.
Ian joined Wilmington Trust in 2024, before which he served as a Sales Director at Citibank, N.A., London Branch, BNP Paribas, and HSBC Bank plc.
